Itinerary

Met at Kalka and put on the narrow gauge — 96 km, 102 tunnels and five and a half hours, which is the point rather than the problem. Transfer to the hotel and an evening on the Ridge.

Booking Policies

  • 0125% advance to confirm; balance 15 days before travel.
  • 02Cancellation 30+ days before travel: 10% retention. 15–29 days: 50%. Under 15 days: 100%.
  • 03Rates are per person on twin sharing and hold for the season quoted, excluding 20 December – 5 January and the May–June peak.
  • 04Snowfall closes hill roads without notice. We reroute at our cost; we cannot refund a road we did not close.
  • 05No operator can guarantee snow on a given date, and we do not claim to.
  • 06Toy train seats are released 120 days ahead and sell out. If we cannot confirm one we substitute the road transfer and refund the difference.
