Questions we get asked most

If yours isn't here, ask us — we'll add it.

October to May is the settled season, with calm seas and reliable ferries. December and January are busiest and priced accordingly. June to September brings rain and rougher crossings — it is cheaper and greener, but sailings get cancelled, so keep the itinerary loose.

Indian nationals do not need a permit for Port Blair, Havelock, Neil or the usual tourist islands. Foreign nationals are issued a Restricted Area Permit on arrival, valid 30 days. Carry photo ID either way — it is checked at every jetty.

Fly into Veer Savarkar International Airport at Port Blair. There are direct flights from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, between two and five and a half hours depending on where you start. Ships sail from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam but take three to four days.

Hotels on twin-sharing with breakfast, all transfers in a private vehicle, inter-island ferry tickets, listed sightseeing with entry tickets, and permits. Flights, lunch and dinner, and water sports are not included unless the package says so. Each package page lists both sides in full.

Yes. Almost everything we run is a private departure, so nights, islands and pace are all adjustable. Tell us your dates and who is travelling and we will send back a plan rather than a brochure.

For most of it, yes. Ferries are the main consideration — crossings can be choppy and there are steps at the jetties. We keep those days short, book the calmer morning sailings, and skip Baratang for groups that would find a 3:30 am start difficult.

Nearly all of them. Sea walking, scuba, snorkelling and glass-bottom boats all run for non-swimmers with a life jacket and an instructor. We will say so plainly if something is not right for you.

Send an enquiry or message the number on this page. Once the itinerary is agreed, a part payment holds your hotels and ferries, with the balance due before arrival. You will get a written itinerary and a GST invoice.
