Andaman Adventure Awaits

Every one booked through a licensed operator with current safety certification. Rates are per person and are what the operator charges — we hold the slot so you are not queuing at the counter on Elephant Beach.

What you can do

Water Sports

In the order guests usually book them, not by price. Where an activity has an age limit or is not right for non-swimmers, it says so on the card rather than at the jetty.

A rider throwing spray while turning a jet ski across open waterNon-swimmers welcome

Jet Ski

10 minsCorbyn's Cove, Port Blair · Elephant Beach, Havelock · Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex

A jet ski run with a trained operator riding pillion. He handles the safety and the boundaries of the run; you have the throttle and the bars for the whole ten minutes.

  • Life jacket provided and checked before you launch
  • A trained operator riding with you throughout
  • Fuel and all safety equipment
  • A marked run kept clear of swimmers

Good to know

  • Ages 12+ years
  • No self-driving — the operator rides with you at all times
  • Not for pregnant guests or anyone with a back or neck condition
  • Not for guests under the influence of alcohol
  • Suspended in rough sea or poor visibility

Before you go

  • You will get wet through — wear swimwear, not the clothes you plan to sightsee in.
  • Sunglasses and hats go in the boat, not on your head.
  • Add it to a North Bay or Elephant Beach day rather than making a separate trip for it.
  • Peak season slots sell out by mid-morning; ask us to hold one the day before.

A red and white parasail canopy towed behind a speedboat over turquoise waterNon-swimmers welcome

Parasailing

5 minsElephant Beach, Havelock · Corbyn's Cove, Port Blair

You are strapped into a harness under a parasail canopy and winched up off the back of a speedboat. At full line you are roughly forty to fifty metres above the water, looking down the length of the bay and across the reef line.

  • Certified safety harness and life jacket
  • Boat crew and winch operator throughout
  • Take-off and landing from the boat deck — you stay dry unless you want otherwise
  • Photos from the boat

Good to know

  • Ages 12+ years
  • Weather dependent — high wind cancels the slot
  • Not for pregnant guests or anyone with a heart or spine condition
  • Combined weight limits apply on tandem flights
  • Not for guests under the influence of alcohol

Before you go

  • Weather calls this one. We hold a backup slot on the following day for anyone blown out.
  • Sunglasses need a strap, or leave them on the boat.
  • Morning slots are calmer and the light is better for photographs.
  • Say so beforehand if you would rather not be dipped — the crew will keep you dry.

A person down on the sandy sea bed beside coral in shallow waterNon-swimmers welcome

Sea Walk

20 minsNorth Bay Island · Elephant Beach, Havelock

Sea walking puts a weighted glass helmet over your head and pumps air into it from the boat above. The air pressure keeps the water out at chest height, so you breathe normally, your face stays dry, and you simply walk along the sea bed five to seven metres down.

  • Helmet, weight belt and continuous fed-air supply
  • A guide walking beside you for the full twenty minutes
  • Briefing and ear-equalising practice before you descend
  • Underwater photos and video

Good to know

  • Ages 10–55 years
  • Not for guests who are claustrophobic
  • Not for anyone with asthma, a heart condition, or ear or sinus trouble
  • Not for pregnant guests
  • Not for anyone who has flown within the last twelve hours

Before you go

  • The helmet weighs around 30 kg in air and almost nothing in the water — do not panic when you first take its weight.
  • Keep swallowing or yawning on the way down; that is all equalising needs.
  • Long hair is best tied back before the helmet goes on.
  • Do not book this on your departure day — leave twelve hours before a flight.

A yellow kayak seen from above on clear turquoise water near the shoreNon-swimmers welcome

Kayaking

30 minsSwaraj Dweep (Havelock) mangroves · Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island)

This is a guided paddle through the mangrove channels rather than a run across open sea. The water inside the creeks is glassy almost all day, which is why it works for people who have never held a paddle.

  • Sit-on-top kayak, paddle and life jacket
  • A guide leading the group throughout
  • Beginner instruction on the beach before you launch
  • Calm, sheltered water — no open-sea crossing

Good to know

  • Ages 8+ years
  • Children under 12 must share a double kayak with an adult
  • Not for guests with a shoulder, wrist or back injury
  • Slots are tide-dependent; the creeks are not navigable at low water

Before you go

  • Wear a hat and reef-safe sunscreen; there is no shade until you reach the canopy.
  • Take a dry bag if you want your phone with you — everything in an open kayak gets wet.
  • The early-morning slot is the quietest and the best for birds.
  • Ask about the bioluminescence night paddle — it runs only around the new moon.

Book Now
A scuba diver beside a dense school of yellow snapper on a reef wallNon-swimmers welcome

Scuba Diving

30 minsHavelock (Nemo Reef, Lighthouse) · North Bay Island

This is a discover-scuba dive, not a course. No licence, no prior experience, and no swimming ability required — a PADI or SSI instructor stays physically with you for the whole dive, one on one.

  • Certified instructor with you one-to-one for the whole dive
  • Full set of gear — BCD, regulator, tank, mask, fins and wetsuit
  • Shallow-water training session before the dive
  • Underwater photos and video

Good to know

  • Ages 10–55 years
  • Not for guests with a heart condition
  • Not for anyone with asthma, epilepsy, or ear, sinus or lung trouble
  • Not for pregnant guests
  • No flying for eighteen hours after the dive — do not book it the day you leave

Before you go

  • Season matters: November to April gives the clearest water. May to September is divable but greener.
  • Do not dive with a cold — a blocked ear is painful at depth and will end the dive.
  • Eat something light beforehand. Diving on an empty stomach is as bad as diving on a full one.
  • Leave at least eighteen hours between your last dive and your flight home.

The sea and swimmers seen through the round porthole of a boat's cabinNon-swimmers welcome

Semi Submarine

45 minsNorth Bay Island

A semi-submarine floats on the surface with its passenger cabin below the waterline. You sit in an air-conditioned seat facing a long glass panel, roughly two metres down, while the boat tracks slowly over the coral gardens off North Bay.

  • Reserved seat in the glass viewing cabin
  • Guide narrating the reef throughout
  • Suitable for families, children and elderly guests
  • Life jackets for the boat transfer

Good to know

  • Ages All ages
  • Runs to a fixed timetable — slots must be booked ahead
  • Cancelled in rough sea; the cabin is below the waterline
  • Guests prone to seasickness should take something an hour before

Before you go

  • The best light is between ten and two, when the sun is high enough to reach the coral.
  • The cabin glass reflects — cup your hands around your phone if you are filming.
  • This is the one to book if anyone in the group cannot swim or will not get in the water.
  • Bring a light layer; the cabin is air-conditioned.

Book Now
A snorkeller in a life jacket floating above a reef among tropical fishNon-swimmers welcome

Snorkelling

20 minsElephant Beach, Havelock · North Bay Island · Nemo Reef

Mask and snorkel over the shallow reef, with a life jacket so you float without effort. It is the cheapest way to see coral in the Andamans and the one most guests end up repeating.

  • Mask, snorkel, fins and life jacket
  • A guide in the water with you throughout
  • Instruction for beginners before you get in
  • Suitable for complete non-swimmers

Good to know

  • Ages 6+ years
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied in the water by an adult
  • Not for guests with an open wound or a severe ear infection
  • Do not touch or stand on the coral — it is protected and it cuts
  • Cancelled in poor visibility or heavy swell

Before you go

  • Use reef-safe sunscreen, and put a t-shirt on — your back is up in the sun the whole time.
  • A little water in the mask is normal. Lift the bottom edge, breathe out through your nose, and it clears.
  • Go at high tide if you can; there is more water over the coral and less chance of scraping it.
  • This is the best-value activity here — pair it with a sea walk on the same North Bay trip.

A flyboarder hovering above turquoise water on twin jets of waterSwimmers only

Flyboard

5 minsSwaraj Dweep (Havelock) · Corbyn's Cove, Port Blair

A flyboard is a footplate fed by a long hose from a jet ski. The pump pushes water down through two nozzles under your boots and lifts you clear of the surface — about two to four metres up on a first attempt.

  • Full safety briefing before you get in the water
  • Helmet, life jacket and flyboard boots
  • A trained operator controlling the throttle throughout
  • Photos and video of your run

Good to know

  • Ages 12+ years
  • Weight limit 100 kg
  • Not suitable for non-swimmers
  • Not for guests with back, knee, shoulder or neck injuries
  • Not for pregnant guests or anyone with a heart condition

Before you go

  • Keep your legs straight and locked — bending your knees is what tips first-timers over.
  • Expect to fall in. That is part of it, and the water is warm.
  • Book a morning slot: the bay is flattest before the afternoon breeze picks up.
  • Do not attempt it on a full stomach.

₹5,000per person

Book Now
A diver in a wetsuit gripping the handles of an underwater scooter above the sea bedSwimmers only

Underwater Scooter

15 minsNorth Bay Island · Elephant Beach, Havelock

An underwater scooter is a small two-seat machine with a clear dome over your head. You sit on it the way you would a bike, the dome keeps a pocket of fed air around your face, and the scooter carries you a few metres down along the reef under its own power.

  • Instructor riding alongside for the whole slot
  • Scooter, dome helmet and fed-air supply
  • Safety briefing and a shallow-water trial before you set off
  • Underwater photos and video

Good to know

  • Ages 12–55 years
  • Not suitable for non-swimmers
  • Not for anyone with a heart, ear, sinus or respiratory condition
  • Not for pregnant guests
  • No alcohol in the twelve hours before your slot

Before you go

  • Wear swimwear under your clothes — there are changing rooms but no lockers worth trusting.
  • Leave phones, watches and jewellery with your driver or in the boat's dry box.
  • Your head stays dry, so contact lenses and spectacles are not a problem.
  • Blow your nose before the descent; a blocked sinus is the usual reason a slot gets cut short.
