About this trip

Both halves of Goa in five days, from one base rather than two. Two full beach days — the busy north around Baga and Aguada, the quiet south around Palolem — with the Old Goa churches, Panaji's Latin Quarter and the Dudhsagar falls between them. Booked on the north coast for the shacks and the markets, or on the south for the space; tell us which and we place the hotel accordingly.

Itinerary

Met at Mopa or Dabolim and driven to the hotel — about 40 minutes to the northern beaches, an hour and a quarter to the south. The rest of the day is deliberately unplanned: get to the sand, find a shack, and eat a rechado mackerel while the sun goes down. It is the correct way to start a Goa trip and every itinerary that fills this afternoon gets it wrong.

Booking Policies

  • 0125% advance to confirm; balance 15 days before travel.
  • 02Cancellation 30+ days before travel: 10% retention. 15–29 days: 50%. Under 15 days: 100%.
  • 03Rates are per person on twin sharing and hold for the season quoted, excluding 20 December – 5 January, when Goa prices roughly double and must be booked months ahead.
  • 04Hotels are confirmed at the category booked; a named property may be substituted for one of equal standard.
  • 05Beach shacks and water sports operate from roughly October to May. In the monsoon the shacks are dismantled, water sports stop and swimming is not permitted — we will tell you this before you book those dates, not after.
